Congratulations to Tyler Lytle, your Grand Prix San Antonio Champion. Lytle started off 9-0 and shambled aggressively through the top 8, defeating the other Zombies decks in the quarterfinals and the finals. The top 8 also included a Rites deck, a Bant deck, UW Flash, GW Humans, and UWR America. Other than the heavy presence of the walking dead, Cavern of Souls came out in force, with 20 copies in the top 8 and appearances in all but two of the decks.
That’s two, count ’em, (Rak)dos wins in a row for the undead menace. How do you think players will adapt? Or, are we looking at the beginning of the end? Horde your Twinkies! Oh, wait.

Cut a Thragtusk for an Elderscale Wurm. Not sure what feels worse:actually playing Elderscale Wurm or paying $3 for one #GPSanAnt— Chris Mlinac (@mullto4) November 24, 2012

Drew last round for 40 points. No one can catch me so I will be going first in the whole top 8. Just need to win the quarters so qualify!— Tyler Lytle (@tyler_lytle) November 25, 2012
Man, this Rakdos Aggro deck is really unforgiving... Time to brew! 🙂 #GPSanAnt— David Doyle (@DavidPDiddle) November 26, 2012
