This weekend Star City hit the strip in Las Vegas, where hundreds of people showed up to vie for camera feature matches and a shot at the trophy. Wait. Scratch that. What actually happened this weekend was a few hundred folk were tricked by the vicious rumors that Vegas was finally going to get a professional football team. Arriving to find only a Magic tournament, these people decided that since they were already there they might as well play and simultaneously practice their sweet punting skills. Thankfully, for those watching, this provided hours of face-palming entertainment in both the Standard and Legacy portions of the Open.
Oh, and Huey Jensen got 4th in Legacy. Not quite a consolation prize for the Hall of Fame. Maybe next time, buddy.
