20 Tweets: Return to Ravnica Pre-release
All over the world this past weekend, Magic players paid a return visit (some of them for the first time) to Ravnica: Still a City of Guilds. In a unique twist on the prerelease, players had their card pool influenced by a sixth “guild pack” containing cards for their chosen guild, including a playable promo. Did you give your identity to the collective? Did you run away and join the blood circus? Did you abandon your chosen guild and play something else out of the other five packs? Prerelease flights sold out all over the place. The event was so popular relative to supply that some stores had to turn people away, short or substitute prizes or even cancel their second day. Did Return to Ravnica live up to the hype? Twitter says yes!

Just finished a midnight prere 5-0-1. Ludicrously tired, but happy. Also, playing #Azorius in Sealed = playing Delved in Standard. #mtgRTR

Dropped after going 2-3 in matches last night. Every single deck I faced was Azorious or Selesnya.

Guardian of the Grove is unreal. EOT make an 8/8, untap and populate just wins the game every single time. Glad I picked Selesnya. #MTGRTR

Have to admit, being able to play with your sweet foil promo is actually fantastic. I had my doubts, but I was wrong. #mtgrtr @maro254
